Consistently great food and drinks. This cafe serves well thought through dishes and sweet snacks as well as good coffee and juices. The location is rather interesting: its in an industrial area and therefore not easy to find but its a true gem. It has very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, with green plants around and quite a romantic vibe for such a location. It is not fancy but rather down to earth funky and a bit rusty and arty. Street Parking available. The service has always been very friendly and the owner seems to be present at times. A good local place with a nice atmosphere.

Vibrant little cafe with refreshing open-area seating! We really enjoyed some down time here early on a weekday morning. Street parking is fairly easy, and is non metered. We travelled a little out of our way for this one; but we’re happy we did. We ordered two coffees and an almond croissant. My coffee was really enjoyable, and I loved the cool mug it was in. The almond croissant was just the standard you’d get at any cafe, nothing too special. Wish the staff were a little friendlier though, two of them continued to talk as we waited at the register. Not too much of a bother, as other than that the service was pretty quick. We were however only one of two people in the cafe at this time. Something about sitting outside amongst the trees with a nice cup of coffee is pure bliss! For that reason I probably would travel out of my way to visit here again, it was a great kick start to our morning. Would love to try some of the menu items in the future!

Consistently reliable experience. The name leans on a fascinating history of the industrial brick building itself, it was once a munitions factory. It's like returning to an old friend where the reggae fusion beats and eclectic retro decor create a depth of warmth and welcoming satisfaction If you are a shift worker like me it's the uninhibited serene family run operation that allows me to quietly indulge in a good quality coffee and a bit of perfectly poached egg and toast. This is the perfect 'ammunition' to get on with my day.

The Reload Espresso Bar is housed in a distinctive red brick building that immediately catches your eye, but it's the backstory that makes it truly unique. The Atmosphere Stepping inside feels like walking into a piece of Brisbane's heritage. During the 1940s, this building served as part of a World War II munitions manufacturing complex. While locals often describe it as the "bullet factory," the industrial architecture has been beautifully preserved to create a warm, rustic vibe. the cleverness behind the name "Reload"—it’s a perfect nod to the site's history, referencing the transition from "reloading" ammunition to reloading on caffeine. The Food It’s not just about the coffee and history, though. They serve a fantastic breakfast menu. Must-Try: The Eggs Benedict. It was the highlight of the meal and perfectly prepared. It is also a great stop for a quick lunch if you are in the area and need something substantial. The Service The staff here are lovely, and the service is very friendly, making you feel welcome the moment you walk in. However, be aware that the kitchen and coffee bar can be a bit slow during peak times, so it’s best enjoyed when you have a little time to sit back and soak in the atmosphere. Verdict A historic gem with great food. Come for the industrial history, stay for the Eggs Benny!

Good little local cafe, nice feel about it, quite chill, would be awesome if this had tableservice, considering doesnt get very busy figure this would be easy, coffee is great for me (douple esp.) but my wife could not finish her iced latte as it was overextracted to the point where she didn't enjoy it

Beautiful cafe- a hidden gem! Lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. We really enjoyed sitting outside! The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the Vegetarian big breakfast! The iced lattes and iced chai lattes were perfect for a hot Summer morning. Very reasonably priced for the size of the meals! The staff were really friendly as well which definitely added to the happy vibe.
